Has anyone tried fishing out from the public boat launch? I have not seen any posts of anyone fishing that area. Not even sure if its accessible in the winter.

It doesn't sound that appealing to most people I talk to, but going out onto a frozen lake and staring into a hole for the day is my favorite thing to do.

Lot of people there Saturday afternoon. I went by about 1pm. Probably 25-30 cars in the lot.
