Cross Creek Washington County

I don't see Cross Creek mentioned on here. It this a good place to ice fish in SouthWestern PA?

I live by PIT airport and am looking for a place to go for a couple hours tomorrow.

I live about 20 minutes from Cross Creek.  Not a bad place to ice fish, just be careful with the ice.  I went and checked it a couple of days ago and there was only 4-4.5" at the shoreline, so there is probably less out on the main lake.  If you park at the main boat launch, walk out the launch ramp and head left, the first big cove on the far side of the lake is a pretty decent spot for panfish and bass.

If there is around 4" of ice around the shore then there is probably more than that the further out you go.  Usually the shore ice where the ice gets sketchy.

A few of us will be out tomorrow, should be a good bite with this weather pattern. Hug the shorelines, 8-12' should be good right now, fish the weeds and dropped trees.
