40 fishing trips

That was my personal best last year. Last year we lost the ice early for a week or so. Hope to top it this year only at 7 so far. How about you guys out there. Do you keep a diary of all your trips. I am sure the diehards do.

I keep a log on every trip for the past ten years. Whether boat, fly fishing, or out on the ice. Keep all the particulars, weather conditions, bait used/flies, water conditions. And I like to write down anyone I may have met. Sure helps the memory if I run into them again. Not to mention kind of neat to bring back some fond memories of different trips.  Lou

I do this with all fishing, hunting and trapping adventures.  Keeps me up on what works and I'll be able to remember all the good times when I'm old and grey
