Title: Still good ice....

Went out on Round lake today and the ice is still 12" or more and nice and firm.  Caught 5 trout but it was fairly slow.

Still good ice on Round lake, but the fishing is pretty slow.   Caught 5 trout today but fished 5 tipups for about 5 hours.

There was still 10 plus on Hayden .  no fish.  might try again this weekend.   What where you fishing for with teh tipups?

Trout.... They all ran from 12 to 14".    About the only time I use tip ups is for trout or pike......
