Best Walleye Spot In CT
« on: Feb 03, 2018, 03:08 AM »
Been looking to do some Walleye fishing for awhile but have never got around to it. Seems like from what I hear is that Gardner is the best Walleye place in that state. Is that true and do you guys have any luck elsewhere?

State record out of Beach Pond a few winters back. The waters you don't hear about much on this board are some of the best in my opinion.

The answer is blowing in the wind,Depends on your goal, just catching walleye or going for the big girls 8lb plus, Any walleye lake that is listed by the state to have Walleye stocked in them is good to catch Walleye, The lakes that have been stocked for more than 10 yrs. hold big walleye. If you read all the posts on Ct.iceshanty you will learn were you can catch your quest. This yrs.ice season has been one of the best in yrs. Good Luck
