Just got word as I came into the shop this morning that someone we know is up in the Northwest Corner, standing on 3" of ice and just had their first flag of the season!

Let the games begin! More to come later!

It's a popular spot for getting on first ice and not much else. You won't catch any state records from it. Or even fish 1/2 the size of state records.

I got the text an hour ago. It's Friday and I have to work. That's just mean.... ;)
