Well, made it back from fish camp alive. My brother Thor turned 22 yesterday, so we decided to camp a few days back in a isolated area no cell service just us four..(Thor, me, friends Dustin and James) stayed in a tent and set up base camp on shore near where we wanted to fish. We caught 12 or 13 pike I can't remember, only fish picture is of Thor with a 35" 9lb pike (big fish of the trip, sadly)... But for the first time really the tipups weren't as important as the adventure.. We will make this an annual

It was a good time. Takes some getting used to sleeping on the frozen ground but other then that it was an absolute great time.. Pretty cool, ask my bro what he wants to do for his birthday... Go to the bar?? Nope, ice fishing trip!! Gotta love it. Yeah we like to drink a little bit too.

Looks like a great times had by all. Reminds me of our annual steelhead fishing trip in the spring, day trips we really focus on fishing, but when it comes time for the big trip it's all about the friends and adventure, fish are a bonus. It's incredible how much beer and liquer we hike in four miles for that trip.

. I'm sure the annual trip you guys are starting will become honored tradition and create countless memories, this is how it starts haha.

Of course he was more proud of the beer. too bad your not home Gavin we had the bed races today for winterfest at the amvets, amvets team won, with Jutt, JD, Nate Stark, Corey K, and Finish Line team came in 3rd with Lafountain, Boney, Cody green, and faggle.. That was at noon then we started getting into em went from amvets to the finish line at 8 now I just got home. Wahh!!! Wild night. Shoulda been home...

Looks like a good time had a trip like that planed this year but ice wasnt thick enough to stay on all night only got 5" of ice this year last year we had our normal 16" crazy weather bad on fishing this year

come from an all busch town..beer of choice for me reguardless of price

have drank so much of it, its the only beer that tastes normal
