over my christmas break i made a homemade tipup with my grandpa. the measurement from the bottom of the center post to the top of the flag is 59". I wanted it to use in VT. in March hopefully. dont have any pics, will when i catch a fish

I have been thinking of doing that for a couple seasons now. Did you find it tough to fine tune were the trigger and the trip mechanism placement was. That was one thing that always made me shy away from it.
