Does anyone know what part of the lake the derby is on?

It is on the big lake. The flyer say it's at Lungs Beach.
TEAM Saskatchewan: Yes, we have ice in December!.

Hey i am just planing a camping trip this summer and was wondering if one of you who know the lake would be able to let me know if it gets windy very often during open water season.  We just have canoes and i know that some lakes are more prone to wind then others.  Any info would be great, thanks.

The lake is big and open so it gets rough fast.  If wind is from the west you are ok but any other direction and you wont get out.  If you carry your canoe, you can always find a shore with no wind but boat launch is on west side of the lake.  You might have better luck at St Brieux.  Long and skinny lake.

Planning to bring my boys to Lake Lenore this week off.  Is the best access to Lenore at Lungs?

Hoping to hook into a few walleye or perch.  Any tips on what depth I should be looking for?

Not sure what access is like at lungs but we usually drive on and fish the small lake to the south of there. I am curious how the fishing has been lately as well as ice conditions.

Access onto Lung's is good.  Two ice heaves that are marked with flags.  Fishing is slow, the odd walleye and pike.  You can drive anywhere on the lake.

Is Access at Lungs OK or are the heaves a nuisance to get on there? Looking at going Saturday.

You won't have a problem getting on at lungs.

The lake access was plowed at Lungs's and at the channel. Not sure about the boat launch on the small lake. Yesterday the Warden said no one was catching anything. We fished the afternoon and caught squat. Maybe better luck today.
