Well I finally made it out on a pond not too far out from macomb. Never ice fished it before, so it was a real test. The ice was kinda sloppy in some areas but it was about 4 to 5 inches. With the pond only being a few acres I expected shallow water. Much to my surprise it was close to 30 ft deep! However the fishing was textbook! Off the damn a little ways I found stacks of fish holding in about 15 ft of water over 28 ft. All i had was waxies and they went quick. Kept enough to feed myself, my roommate, and some buddies. Not sure if I will be able to get out on that spot next weekend as the temps are above freezing most days. Stays safe! Here's the pics:
