Gold Arnold. if they dont bite gold they aint biting.

Huge fan of the fairy jig in gold! Or a white flirty girty
The fishing is always great, the catching however, always isn't

My new favorite gill jig is from Kodiaks new tungsten line, it doesnt really have a name so heres a pic:

Works awesome tipped with a 1" gulp minnow. Also had good results with northlands line of plastics.

got these from contraband baits. they don't have the plastics on their site yet. I had to contact them to get the tails. easy to deal with, good people. they also have some killer heavy head jigs with small hooks. great for deep water.

I really want to see how these new tungsten jigs from J&S Custom Jigs work. Its called the Heavy Hair Ball Jig. If it's anything like their plastics, these things are gonna be a hit! Here's a pic right from their website. http://jandscustomjigs.com/Heavy-Hair-Ball-Jig-11009.htm

My three favorites are Custom-jigs rat-finkee and diamond jig, and Lindy's fat boy. I like to fish the fat boy and diamond jig with a micro plastic. those three baits are pretty much all i use any more for gills and crappie.

I like the size 12 lindy toad jigs. They hook up really nice and seem to fish heavy for their size.

the new Bentley Stinger tipped with plastics or 2 red spikes has been pretty successful as of late, but you can never go wrong with the old gold Demon with a waxie or plastics...

Jammin Jigs red neon bobber fry #12 is my go to favorite. I like it so well that I just ordered some more in case I lose the only one I have. I was tipping it with two spikes, but waxies were on the menu yesterday.
