I just ordered a Z51 Shark 8" auger today so how do I get the badge to put in my signature?

This was a demo model that was apparently used to drill a few holes and put back in the box. I paid 259 dollars for it.

Was that a good deal?

As far as getting a badge you have to send each of us a six pack of our faverite beer.

Or you can just copy one that isn't custom and then load it to photobucket and then paste it to your signature. Dasrottweiler will make you a custom one if you pm him. Congats on the new MO!!

nice purchase. here is badge for ya. you will have to add it to photobucket and resize it. i resized mine in photobucket to 110x100. dont forget to post a couple pics for us.

Bumming out a bit. My annual trip to Lake Simcoe just got cancelled. No ice up there yet. My new MO has to wait to cut Canadian ice till February. Hope you are all well and having better luck than us boys in SW Michigan.

there is another lake to the north called lake couchiching it flows into simcoe. very good for perch. ill pm ya link for a thread on a different forum.

Just returned the 2010 Z51 8" auger and got my money back...way to go BPS! I went downstairs to check as he said they had more that just came in but they were all 2010 models and after messing with the 2011 Z71 10" they had on display I decided to go with that so I am going to place the order with Glen's very soon!

Cannot wait till it gets here, hopefully we will have some ice by then!

I got it today.

Interesting color change. I think she needs to be called the "Green Goblin" or Gobblin as in ice.

So far, that makes the 4th color option for this Chameleon auger, Now there is The Black and White Frabill Auger, The Red and Silver and Black Rapala Auger and the Blue and Black Costco auger, I'll bet the only sad part is that somewhere on all of these augers that there is a made in China sticker on them too !

Not very impressed at how it drives that 10" with chipper blade.
It doesn't have the torque or the clutch that my Stikemaster Cobra does.
It hangs up when it attempts to cut through and the clutch slips.

I'll check it out with the 8" that came with it and see if it's better.
If not it will be going back me thinks.

On a positive note it starts and idles great.

Drifter, it says in the book that the clutch may slip for the first 2 hours of use. The clutch has to break in. Give it some time and some use I bet that the auger will do what it was made for.

I finally got cut some holes with my MO today

. Had to drive 100 miles north to get to ice but she did make short work of the 6 inches of out on the lake, she started on the 1st or 2nd pull each time. Caught a dozen small yellow bass, and one 12 or 14 in walleye. It was nice to finally get out.
