So far they have all burrowed into the block except for 3 that kicked the bucket ! I am seeing exit holes being bored out the bottom of the block so hopefully the moths will fly this week ? This weather really suckin hind tit, I was on ice fishing by now the past 2 years !!

Hey Surf..... that 2nd pic doesnt look like the paint is chipped away from where the fishingline ties to the jig head, it looks brand new. Are you sure you weren't just posing with this lure??

I am also wondering how that micro ice drill is working out. I ordered one last week, I am actually from Newfoundland, (hence my name) but now live in BC, anyway, let me know whats the deal with the jig, I dont see any fishing line

I have only run the Micro on block ice from the beer store, temps still in the 50s here !!

It blows thru an 8 inch block with 4 turns, so I think it will get it done for me, the best part was all the other gear that I was able to buy with the money that I saved by not buying the Nils !!

good to walk out on now in a few places.

Haven't gotten out yet to fish but did go for a ride checking things out. Going to get out on the weekend.

the weather here is nuts though, this morning with the windchill it was -29c then by the afternoon it -2c with chance of rain.

We have almost nothing for snow. The driving is great though

where I was going to fish this weekend had 10 inches of ice

and guys were out 1/4 mile :)and then a couple days later a big wind storm blew the ice away and its back to open water now.
