No 8. Tackle "Snitch" Rod
« on: Jan 21, 2015, 01:28 PM »
Got a $50 Gift Card for gander so I'm looking to buy a noodle rod for gills & slabs. Anyone use the Snitch yet? I've seen a lot of broken tickle sticks in the last two months so I'm either gonna go with the 20 or 25" snitch or the 24" meatstick. Opinions & reviews would be appreciated?  ???

I actually returned a ticklestick and bought the snitch. So far I like it. Seems to be the first rod I grab out of my case.

Did you put a spinning reel or inline on it?

Just so everyone knows. I just got my Snitch yesterday. This is one awesome stick! Took her out this morning and wacked some big gills, very very very very responsive tip. Super heavy backbone. So glad I went with this rod over the meatstick or ticklestick. Paired it up with a no 8 code blue reel w/ #2 Vicious panfish ICE. 4mm Warpath Tackle Tungsten Head & Warpath Tackle Itchy Bug plastic.

All I use are spinning reels. Never cared for the inline. Just doesn't feel right. Maybe if I tried one for awhile it would be ok.

I agree, I prefer to use spinning over inline. But I had this Code blue inline kicking around in the back of the truck with no rod for it so I paired the two up and absolutely love how well it balances out. What an awesome rod. Very happy with it. Gonna order the 20" model as well.
