The past few seasons my first trip has always been for crappie and gills, so I will say a marmish maggot or a gill pill

First in the hole for perch will be a Hali Sukkula 35 with powerbait waxies tipping the hook.
It will also most likely be my last jig down the hole.

First of season for me is for brown trout, best to use a tandem rig of a white jigging Rapala and a black #8 Ratso with a waxworm.

CJ&S Diamond jig, red glow, tipped with maggots! My second rod will have a Hali in perch glow, tipped with maggots also!

The first hard water here are the Perch and Pickeral Ponds.

I'm still not sure! I'll probably chase crappies and gills first, so some sort of jigging spoon tipped with either real waxies or plastic waxies.

Undecided so far. Either going to be a gill pill, glow or firetiger, or a diamond, red glow or firetiger. Still have some deciding to do.

Probably something along the line of a gill pill, diamond eye jig or a scud bug (actually did pretty well with em last year).

I was checking out the scud bug. Looked like it might work fairly well. Might pick one of those up and try it out first.

Wow thats a tough one.. Uuum.. Most likely a Fire tiger CJ&S Diamond jig tipped with a mousie. Or i might try out the hexi fly first. Probably the Diamond jig.

for those who use fiskas with atomic plastic tails, do you also throw on a waxworm when you have that combo? Or fish it without bait, just curious, gonna be pacin an order on a combo of the two
