i was just wondering who wants to go to fawn lake this weekend theres lots of lakers there I hope.

its going to be my last trip on the hard water i think

Iceshanty Poster boys!!!

I'm still in for the trip, I will be heading up that way tomorrow. Can't trust these freakin weathermen though

. We'll have to see what the weather is going to do. Although I talked with a friend of mine yesterday and they were still cutting almost 3' of ice on West Caroga lake while jigging smelt and the shorline was fine. Fawn lake is further north too!!!

I would love to go this weekend! Yeah yeah, and thats not just talk this time LOL. There is a couple problems I am facing though. A ride, Maby if I could meet some of you guys in warrensburg or lakegeorge, and then scoot up with you to the lake. Problem number two..a trail? How far is it in till the lake? Hopfully its not a long walk

The trail is about 1 1/2 to 2 miles in to the lake, the guys plan to run the snowmoblies in. Wish I could go, but I have to play family man on the weekends. That's life, and I can still get out and find some time to get the fishies during the weekdays with the less pressure.

Good luck guys and hope the trail is firm and the ice is good, and the lakers are jumping out of the holes.

I drove to Fawn this morning, there were about 30 trucks at the trailhead!!!! Hope they caught some!
