I got this bad boy from an old timer that got it from his father, it's in great condition however it only operates when it's upside down. Trying to see if any of you hardcores have one and can help me fix this beast. As soon as it's upright it stops spinning. Any suggestions would be awesome.

i have the same unit and just took a quick look at it maybe that wire from the battery to the board has a break in it. wire may have gotten pinched when you close the top down. i have all the instructions for it if you need anything.
