« on: Oct 14, 2020, 01:07 PM »
Ok so I have be thinking about the Ridgid Octane hammer drill for a while now and was just about ready to buy one. Then a local guy 65 Miles from me posts a Milwaukee 2804-22 kit with 2- 5ah batteries and charger and case for get this $170 brand new in box. If he doesn't sell it by Sunday I am going to get it. He works nights so I have a pretty good chance of getting it since he has had it for sale for 3 days now. Cross those fingers for me guy's.

Well I could have bought the Milwaukee 2804-22 Kit today for $170. I turned it down because there isn't any warranty. Well there would be if I knew where it was bought but the guy doesn't know he got it on a trade from someone else. And when you fill out warranty cards or fill it out on-line they ask where you bought it because they keep track of them with serial numbers.

That is a good deal but I think I will try what I have now this year and look for a deal next year. I set it up and included the 2 Locking Pliers and the total out the door was only $233.57 $100 off is great. Thanks again for your help.

I'm running the Ridgid 700 In lb with a 6" and 7" Mini Nero. Ran the 7" for 2 years with occasional shut downs. Should work even better using the 6".

All my shut down issues ended when I got the 9AH battery. They have 3 parallel sets of batteries in that one, and it can provide full current even when cold. If you are sticking with Ridgid and don't have the biggest battery yet, keep an eye out for the $99 deal on that battery.
