That was it for us, a wrap on the season, Bobhouse in the driveway! A great day for the worst day of the year. The ice was fine we drove the BH off the launch into the launch cove for our headquarters and grilling station, but left the gator there too, just walked around. About 11 inches of pretty good ice, thats a loss of 9 inches in a week, lots of spidering holes to watch for. A strange year for us all, but the solace and saftey of being out on the ice was great for us. Ice conditions for travel sucked until the last 3-4 weeks. Had the wheeler out only once and the slush it picked up stayed frozen under it for 7 weeks until it finally melted off. But when your fishing partner has a gator on tracks its easy to leave the old honda home! The photo: 2-2.5lb bass and 25in 3lb slimedart. Thats a nice haul.

Good luck to all on open water, safety first! Goodluck to you gobbler hunters and gardeners.

Merk, getting in done with style! Amazing how quick the ice goes when mother N says it's time.
