Title: 2 Questions?
Post by: ultraguy on Dec 19, 2013, 07:43 AM
Figured I'd ask here instead of doing my own homework and ask 2 simple questions.

Are treble hooks allowed on your tip ups in Wisconsin?

What type of minnows do you use for Crappies and Walleyes?

Thanks in advance ....

Yes,crappie minnows for crappies and your own preference for walleye.I have used sucker, shiner and walleye minnows at one point or another, depends on the body of water and how much $ you want to pay. You can have 3 lines per angler.

Honestly for walleye I use 5" - 6" suckers seem to work best for me. For crappie you want minnows about 1-1/2" to 2" long.

i use a #6 or 8 treble hook and hook the sucker on top right at the dorsal fin for walleye, crappie minnows I hook more towards the tail or sometimes right through the lips.
