I love my Shappell DX3000, worth it's weight in gold on cold days. I just use a coleman due mantel fuel lantern to heat it. ;D
Love those slab crappie, jumbo perch, and always love those bull sunfish. A.F.& A.M.

I would stay away from a wood floor.  They will be heavier than a plastic base plus they soak up the water.  Below is a picture of the one that I use.  It is a 6x8 Sportsman by Shormaster Fabric.  It has lots of room and it is fairly light to move around.  It has a plastic base.  The nice thing is it is 6'3" tall so you can actually stand up to stretch without having to crouch down.  Plus the doors are full size so they provide ample room to get in and out of it.

The shappell has bungy cords going thrue the pipe. this makes it vary easy and fast to set up. have never seen a northlander shanty.
