Denver area pike?
« on: Mar 09, 2012, 02:07 PM »
Hello fellas,
I have some college buddies that live in Denver. We went to college together in Iowa and introduced them to the outdoors..namely ice fishing. It blew their minds. lol  Currently I live in Texas but still hold on to my ice fishing stuff :)  I would love to make the drive to Denver and take these 2 guys and their boys tip up fishing for some northern pike....does anyone have any suggestions?  I know we've had a mild winter and the ice may be questionable at best...and that's okay...I can plan it for next ice season too.

Just trying to get a feel for what lakes in the area have decent pike.

Thanks!

Probably 11 Mile would be the best bet.  http://www.iceshanty.com/ice_fishing/index.php?topic=221956.0
