A buddy of mine told me some guys were fishing on Delavan Lake, by Lake Lawn Resort. He didn't know how thick the ice is yet.
I am going to give it another week or 2 before I go out.

Guy are starting to fish the mighty lake koshkonong. Mainly a few 100 yards off shore. About 2-3" of ice but she will make ice this week.

Went out this weekend and checked out some small lakes in the coleman/pound area. Couldn't get out on a few that we were expecting to, but ended up going out to Chute Pond where they had a good 4"+.

The early ice made for some good panfishing. Can't wait until next weekend

Fished Monona bay (triangles) today ice varied from 4" to 2.5". Good bite, Good day.

About 6" of good black ice on North end of Wapo last night, who knows what this snow will do though $:-\$

SE wisconsin ice is taking a major hit right now. Warm rain then snow coming. Fubar'd all of lake here. Im just gonna have to drive a bit north!

5" of ice and 14" of snow in vilas cty. Ice is is going to be comprmised.

We got 14 maybe more. It took 4 hours to clear the drive out using the 8 hp snow-blower and the 50" plow on the ATV. The wife was on the snow blower I was on the ATV Sustained wind 25+ Gusts to 40+

Altoona's got 8" Went fishing yesterday in the blizzered. Didn't catch a thing but had a blast!

I had thought the rain we had would have hurt what little ice we have have here in SE WI. But in retrospect we will probably be in better shape than the rest of the state. The rain melted the topping of slush and now temps are dropping quick we have had only an inch or 2 of snow so I suspect by tis next weekend we will be in good shape. Now if only our lakes had fish in them....

peshtigo river near peshtigo 1 foot good ice in pockets, 6 in or less on main river. 2 pike 20+ the other day

13" of ice yesterday on Calderon Falls. Rough as a cob. no one driving on the inlet side. I don't know about the other end. Most guys hoofing it. I used Yamaha ATV fwd with chains. Lake all cut up by guys trying to go with trucks and breaking through to the slush. I broke through, but fought through it, because of fwd and chains.

Drove out on Altoona yesterday. About 15" yesterday, there was more today. I took the wife's "man-van" (Bravada) and opt'ed to leave the 1-ton diesel at home
