Actually it’s a great precaution. I once rescued a guy who decided to have a charcoal BBQ in a shack. No sure if it can detect a propane leak but if it could it might save you from a real sound sleep.

Better safe than dead!!! Not sure but I think my coachman travel trailer has a propane leak detector. I will look the next time I get to it. It is a deer camp now. The deer don't use it much, but I do.
