I was just up . Greylock Glen in Adams from around 11 AM to about 2:30 PM.
The temps were in the upper 20's, and it was snowing steadily.
First, I icefished the Upper (i.e., not Gazebo) Pond for about an hour and a half.
Ice conditions were marginal (about 2"), and, even though the Pond isn't very deep, and I had bibs on, I didn't feel entirely comfortable out there.
So, after catching two football-sized (12" to 13") bass on tip ups, I decided against pressing my luck and brought my gear back to my car.
Next I did a brisk (half hour or 45 minute) circuit around the Glen on cross-country skiis.
Then, I fished the small stream across the road, and landed eight (3" to 8") brookies, before finally heading home.
