Day 2 of our icecation brought strong fishing. The two of us landed 37 pike and one perch today.
Biggest on the jig rods was 6lbs. All fish were caught on run of the mill shiners. We were set up in 8 - 14’ and action came at all depths. Fish averaged at least a pound bigger than yesterday
We pAcked up for the ride at 330. After a dinner stop at the weathervane in kittery, we crossed the street to the trading post. Ice stock is pretty poor as you would expect. There are very few augers and jig rods left.
Summerizing the augers tomorrow and then starting Yard work.
