orange, red, blue, black, maybe green - if those don't work, swear a bit, then move and start over with orange

Chromatic color jigs first...then followed by white or red.

Plastic bodies...well, I keep switching till I find the color the fish want to eat.  I am going to try and not use any "meat" flavor with my jigs this year.  Re-rigging seems to take forever when the "bite is on"!

Cheers,
Ice Beard

Once you try black, you'll never go back!

Really had a tough bite yesterday.  Caught fish on pretty much every color I had in the box.  Funny thing was, most of the bigger fish I caught were going right past the bait and chasing the sinker.  So I decided to go to a silver Marmooska, that worked well for a while, then I went to a gold Marmooska on 1 rod and the a Black Diamond jig on another.  I alternated rods when a fish would come in but not bite.  Worked like a charm!!!

Black is by far my favorite color jig, followed closely by chartreuse, then orange, purple, pink, red, green, blue...
