Title: Power boxes
Post by: crude4u on Jan 26, 2019, 11:33 AM
Good morning fellow fishermen.
Here in Texas we don't get a lot of chances to ice fish. However, we do a lot of night fishing for crappie, bass, stripers, white bass and catfish.
We fish a lot of boat docks, some of which have down lights but most don't and the ones the do, the owners don't always leave them on all night.
So, like a lot of you, I found designs for a portable power supply using a small ammo plastic ammo box.
When I posted photos on the Texas Kayak Fishermen FB page, within 15 minutes I had 45 inquiries as to where they could get one. So I started making them.
I sell them for $160 plus shipping.
I would be happy to post photos but can't figure out how and I don't want to violate any rules (I don't know where to post them either).
My box has a dual USB charger, 12V plug, Yakpower type SAE plug for powering and charging, two LED lights and two sets of banana post.
All of the circuits are fuse protected and the box is "water resistant".
As a newbie, I apologize if I've violated any rules.
Tight lines and fair winds,
