Title: Panfish plastic swap?
Post by: Agronomist_at_IA on Nov 15, 2020, 11:32 PM
Getting that time of year. I'm going to shoot a bunch of panfish plastics for winter.

Was wondering if anyone else does the same and would wanna swap some plastics.

I usuallly put them in a small snack ziplock the put in an envelope and mail for $0.55.

If anyone is interested let me know.

I don't pour, but I'd sure like to learn how to. This is coming out of necessity, to be honest. My favorite plastic, the Northland Impulse Bloodworm (along with the entire Impulse line) has been discontinued.

I'm down to my last two jars of bodies.

I understand the basics of molding, but not when it comes to microplastics. That's a pretty small shape to try to replicate en masse

Here are all the plastics that I shoot. Let me see if you have any that are different we could swap.

Right now I've got a few different glitters I can put in and have orange, red, chartreuse (yellow), root beer (brown) , watermelon (dark green), pink, white, and silver for colors.

I've also got some anise scent and some uv blast.

I can shoot them with translucent style or a solid color. Remelt stuff ends up being solid.

I haven't. Usually when the pay it forward comes around I send out a couple small plastic snack bags of them to people for free.

It is easier then pouring lead weights. Microwave, injector, mold, plastic, colorant. Is all you need.
