I won one this year at an expo, but haven't had a chance to use it much. It isn't my primary shelter. It's very big, and gets very dark inside. Would work great for spearing or sight fishing. I've only actually used it once this year, and was pleased with it. Only critique I have is that the anchors were garbage. I couldn't even get them to bite with a drill adapter. If you buy one, plan on replacing those, otherwise I think you'll like it.
How does the size compare to the Eskimo 949i? The 949i has 61 sq ft of floor space and measures 7'9"x7'9" with a 6'8" ceiling. I just ordered a 949i for sturgeon spearing next year after I nearly had multiple heart attacks trying to haul my permanent shack on a trailer in 30 mph crosswinds on icy roads. The 949i is on sale on Amazon right now for $240 with free shipping if you have Amazon Prime. They were backordered when I ordered mine on Sunday, but they had more in stock on Monday. I cant believe it's almost 8'x8', that's twice the floor space of my little permanent shack!
