photo resizing trick

So I use imgur mobile to post pics, but they often show up so large that it requires scrolling left and right to see the pic or zooming out so far you can read the text. Simple trick to resize photos prior to posting since the is no resize option on the app is to add either a letter "l" "m" or "s" to the end of the link. For example, this is the Imgur link for a trout pic http://i.imgur.com/AvKpzEY.jpg. If I post I t like that the picture is massive. Insert an l for large, m for medium or s for small before the .jpg to automatically resize it.

Obviously not a lot of use for small or medium. The same thing could be accomplished by reducing the resolution right through the camera app, but this way it's still possible to keep the HD photo but post one that's a lot more forum friendly, especially for mobile users.

Nice method! Works perfectly to see the pics on my phone...

If this site was up with the times, we could upload straight from our phones while posting and choose the size like I do on my other forums, no third party image hosting to go through... Just click attach and your gallery pops up, choose the photo and done...

Kind've off topic but why don't we have a subscription to taptalk or another forum reader? Which would do just so? Among many other user friendly bells and whistles...

Yeah I think there would definitely be more participation and things would be a lot more interesting if it was easier to post photos.
