Wow, those are some nice looking goldies. I wasn't able to go out this morning due to Cam's cross country practice, but tomorrow is bait and turkey shoot day.
If fishing was work I'd never be sick!

Are you fishing for them or using a cast net?

Also, if anybody wants to give me some tips on finding suckers and dace, I'd be very grateful!

Hook and bobber griz....

if you want dace(fallfish)...hit a river and drift worm pieces with a split shot about a foot above.  Just cast upstream and bump along...not sure about suckers...

Then there always the option to sink them in nice cool lake and go back later.
Ive done this lost some to theft but for first 6 years in nice stream work great.
I ll do this again for the 6 six weeks before put them in my tanks. This keep them stress free for month and half.
Its easy now with pond in my back yard and couple hidden spot also my friend back yard
I figure this means lotss of Goldens in Dec/Jan. Fresh and alive or fresh dead. ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Griz, check the streams with good size pools for the Dace. I don't get to many Suckers, but when I do they come out of the Hoosac river.

Great haul on the gold today Karl, I checked one trap today and it had about 30 huge tadpoles in it. What the heck am I gonna do with them? Throw them back!!!
