Pleasant Lake Casco
« on: Feb 03, 2024, 06:08 AM »
I'm not certain that I understand what this regulation is saying.
"The holding of any live baitfish not taken in Pleasant Lake is prohibited."
Does this mean the baitfish hast to have come from Pleasant Lake? Or as long as the baitfish lives there naturally you can bring it from a bait shop?
The regulation is difficult to understand.

So I can't purchase shiners or smelt from the lake store in Norway, put it in my bait bucket and use it on Pleasant Lake?
Is that what the regulation is saying?

Yes you can. You can’t just store that bait in the lake itself i.e a bait box below the ice.

There was supposed to be a derby there on Saturday but it was cancelled. I was looking forward to going.
I'm going to drill some test holes today and see for myself. I'll post the results.
