Myself, my son, Flaghead, and Troy headed out and got started with the first trap in the ice at 6:40 fish on by 6:42. That is how it started and it never slowed down from there. We iced over 35 fish, had between 75 and 80 flags and plowed through over 50 shiners. That didn't even count the bait we would pull up after a hit and run and send back down the hole to do battle again. I would have to say for my son and I the best day we have ever had in all our time on the ice. I know I can say that for Troy and Flaghead as well. What a day, the title of this thread is the way it is because that is what Flaghead and would say as we tried o have a coffee, we couldn't even pour a cup with out 2 or 3 flags going off. What a GREAT day out there.
This is how is all started,
,
Here is Troy withthe biggest of the day this thing was ROUND it must have weighed at least 8 pounds.
Here is Flaghead with a couple of his,
And here are a couple of mine,
This eagle flew down and watched us for about 45 minutes before we tossed a fish to him and he flew away. My son and I could get within like 15 to 20 yards of him before he would move. It was awesome.
