19 yr Old Ryan Gorman of Clinton, MA with his 19 lb 3/4 oz Brood, 36.5 " and only 3 lbs shy of the state record.

hell of a salmon but was that stocked that size or did it grow in the lake to be that big? either way its still a hell of a fish.............

It was probably stocked 1 or 2 years ago. State of Mass has been putting in some nice breeder fish to try and populate some of the lakes in western/central mass with salmon. One heck of a nice fish. I hear of people catching salmon in the 10 pound class each of the last 2 years.
