Well here are the 4 pics I got before the bats went dead in my camera.

The first two are of the ceiling trim original to help hold up the paneling that started to pull down in in place at a seem and them because we thought it looked cool. and the last to are of the completed custom pine cabinets with the salvaged hardware from the camper I demoed.

Don't forget the proper wire nuts instead of tape on those wires!!

Ya that is just temporary but when they go up for good there will be wire nuts and tape on them. I just knew they would be coming down and the LED bulbs that will be going in them are sensitive to polarity.

Yes, it is an amazing job. Would love to try and get one built this fall yet, just waiting for some steel prices to see if its in the budget.

Well we finished up the last under counter cabinet fronts. and I had to put new fiberglass sealer stuff on the door of the wood stove ( the original stuff fell off. Other than that all I have done lately is fill the cabinets and organize them in a neat fashion. I didn't realize all the stuff that I had out of the old shack. It was a lot and some of it I didn't even know what to do with it. I am going to revamp my atv loading Idea. Instead of loading it by cranking the whole shack down I am going to build a set of ramps as the cranking with the ATV was just to much effort and ramps wont be hard at all to make. I will get some pics up of the rams when they are done.

I really enjoy moving around the lake... but seeing your shanty REALLY makes me wonder what I could/should do. Da Man... NICELY done sir. I can't wait to see finished product.
Did you ever think about using epoxy on the floor? I have been in the coatings industry for years. The epoxy would seriously strengthen the floor and be a lot easier to clear and last longer.
Just a thought.

I just got back from being at Gander Mtn. while on my break. I purchased my cot for inside the shack. It was on sale for $59.99 originally like $90 some. So I am pretty happy.

Most likely, Mason because that is where I do most of my ice fishing and it is usually one of the first spots around with drivable ice.

We got an official way in on the shack this morning. It came in at a nice 2780lb so it is lighter than we thought.

Well here are the pics

Made a cover for the fresh air inlet to the stove. Its the bottom of a bottle and a rubber band lol but it works and fits good.

put a different rain cap on the stove pipe, one that is more open.

got the lights installed in their final place with the trim for under the base of them made and put in.

got the under the counter cabinet doors all done.

built and installed a matching built in tackle box.

Installed the hood over the stove. It is not all hooked up and working yet but I just wanted to get it in place.

Some more wall decorations.

cabinet door organizer installed and cabinets filled.

worked on how I want to set up the inverter not done yet I still have to mount it to the wall.

And tried out the oven for lunch. LOL

Funny you cooked a pizza. When I saw the first oven pic with the aluminum foil, I was thinking pizza. You know to treat yourself for a fine days work. Keep them the pics coming.
