Title: Swish Rod's, Anybody use, have them?
Post by: Flypopper on Jan 14, 2013, 07:10 PM
I ran across these advertised on another web site and wondered if anybody has any experience with them. They are build by the disabled in WI. The new thing this year seems to be fly reels to eliminate line twist with a bigger spool, these reels certainly do that! the small reel is 4 3/4", don't know how big the other one is, but it looks pretty big in the video. Here's a link

I have not used the Swish rod ,first saw and heard of them in In=Fishermen's ice fishing secrets book. Thought they were no longer being manufactured. Watching the video the rod seams well designed and many anglers prefer to reel in fish over hand lining used with most tip ups.If the price is not to bad give one a try nice to be able to help the disabled.
