Bait Clip
« on: Jan 05, 2017, 12:39 PM »
Rookie question - how do you use the bait clips that come on the Arctic Fire tip ups? I bought a couple of these for backups but I've never had a clip before. I thought they were line guides (the circles) but I've seen elsewhere they're bait clips.

Thanks!

Run your line through the clip/line guide ...normally that's all that you do ...but for larger active baits you run it through clip/line guide as normal and just clip/pinch it ...this will keep the bait from tripping your set up .

Don't know what the Frabill version looks like but here's a peek at the HT incarnation:

To fish or not to fish? That's a stupid question!
