Going to the in laws for the week after Christmas and I am looking to spend a lot of time on the lake to get out of the house. They live on Long Lake up on the Narrows not to far from the Long Lake Bait Shop. Is the ice safe out there and what are some good area's to fish. I don't have an ATV so I can't get to far from the boat landing's since I will be pulling the house and all gear across the lake. Also, if there are other lakes in the area that are hot let me know. I can't wait to get out this weekend and hope to see some others out fishing! Been waiting all year for this week! ( Also, my first winter ice fishing in Wisconsin, Do I have to licence a portable fish house?)
