We used the slammer kit today for rainbows and browns all i can say is AWSOME if you havent used one buy it you wont regret it!!!!!

We both got our limit today the slammer was flawless!!!!!You guys and gals that fish for lakers should own one i will never fish with out it again!!!!!! Heres the pictures

I watched some guys on tv last year using slammers for river steelies. Pretty interesting

Question, since you are fishing with a jigging rod I am assuming you can only use two(i.e. two hand helds in NYS.....I am assuming you caught those bows in NYS)

yes ny and we only use 1 jigging rod and one slammer,but we heard you can use more.We are going to find out!!!!!

NICE FISH !!! ... and I'm glad you like you Slammers.

Wish the action was better around here. It's been SLOW SLOW SLOW. Maybe due to the constantly changing weather. Yesterday it went from snow to rain to freezing rain to a THUDERSTORM to more rain and now it's snowing again with the wind cranking in excess of 30 MPH.

looks pretty cool, just curious if you guys use barbs on the hooks? We are only allowed barbless hooks where I live and I could see the fish getting off after being hooked(as your running over to rod)

well i use both barbless and barbed depends what jig i tied that day or if i know that i am going to release all of them.The thing with the slammer is the fish just keeps fighting down until you get there.Now i have only been around fifteen feet away so far.I guess we will have to see if i get farther away,so far i cannot believe how well the slammer works.

And westernny got another slammer fish today,did i mention "WE LOVE THE SLAMMER" we landed 3 today and mr.s-10 had a 10 pounder until i broke it off at the hole(sorry dude)

ok i've been fishing all my life and these slammer kits and their results have definetly got my attention!!! (that was a beutiful brown) are they hommade ? if not can you direct me as to where i can get them or maybe a set of plans to build my own .......they obviously work congrats on the many good catches

The ice we are fishing on is around 10-12 inches thick. Clear black ice and the one i got yesterday i could see it rolling around under the ice 2 feet to the left of my hole.The fish are so fresh from the lake that they are real silver like that.They are pretty arent they????Did i mention I LOVE THE SLAMMER!!!!!!!
