Not really! We catch them every year. I do not post all pics of the perch, due to the fact of hate e-mails of keeping to many.
I will post more as soon as we get ice on the BIG POND!

wow you get those babies in pa?all i can say is nice!!!we get some big boys in lake erie.I didnt think you could get them like we do in lake erie,in a smaller lake but after seeing your pics i guess you can.

Nice but the only thing is all of those fish are loaded with eggs. We get them regularly from 15-17 inches here on Lake Michigan.

Please make sure to post any pictures of those 15 to 17 inch fish. I'd love to see them. Even old photo's you have. Love seeing big perch.
And also, I'll start a new thread just for SLAMMER Perch(Those over 14") for all to post to of this years catches.

Of course they are, as are all female fish....im always amazed that when someone goes to the trouble of posting a good pic of thier catch, someone always has to chime in with the ole....all those eggs,,,kept too many,,,what about next year,,,,,,I know everyone has a right to their opinion, and certainly there are always game hogs, etc....but from what ive seen most folks on this site are pretty responsible...and fish are for eating!!

Dont get me wrong THEY ARE AWSOME PERCH!!!!!!!!!! GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!! I was just saying that when we get them on lake mich in the summer that big they look alot different because they dont have swollen belleys. Their eye balls seem to be popping out of their head though!!!! My pics are on the way tonight! I was just envious because of the added weight. Im sure i would have some in the 3 pound range.

Stop worrying about the other people that say they have larger perch. All of us true fisherman know when we have a great catch. Enjoy it
However I do want to know one thing. Did you catch those perch in a pond owned by Roger Clemens.

Large "PUBLIC LAKE" in NEPA!
I wish we would get a week long cold snap without wind!
I truely have no urge to ice fish on other lakes.

I HAVE READ ABOUT THOSE SLAMMERS , IN THE Mitchell Report, I heard they might go in the perch hall of fame but will have an asterisk next to them. What lure did you use size and color please. Nice going .

im sure tons of people would pay for these fish thats why theyre not in grocery stores
and if he tells people were he fishes im sure they all could find a place to start selling them also right
dont speak of the spot you catch them piggy perch
