Camo, those are some great fish!  ;D Like TFB said, you're having one hell of a season! I have a question for you...seriously, how hard did that eel fight?

I thought it was a nice toothy, I could tell it was long but didn't take any big runs. And then a snake came out of the hole I was shocked  :o weirdest thing I ever pulled through a hole.  :P

It can't put up too much resistance because it has no width really, but eels are very strong... something tells me you cut the line... ;D

Spent a long weekend up at camp and snowmobiling twice a day, once after breakfast and again after nap time.  ;D Awesome quality time with the family.  :D
Made it out for about two hours the first afternoon and had only two hit and run flags.  :-\

But the scenery was out of this world. The Adirondacks are just an awesome place to spend Thursday-Sunday snowmobiling and playing with the family.
NO Fish On!  :-\
Till next time.  ;)

Took BigRed and my buddy out in the truck today. Right off the bat I get a 19" LMB and then the tip-ups were dead. Started jigging and got a few fatty perch and  run, run, run, missed him.  :P The fish took 60 feet of my line and got away by the time I got there.  :( Oh well thats fishing, and I still was catching.  ;D
Here are a few of the fatties I got.

Fish On!
Oh yea, my other buddy fished in close and had his line cut 3x's and got a few LMB and perch.  ::)  :D

No pictures of the 19" LMB? Nice perch!

Do the leaves of trees stay greener, in the autumn, does the colour of the sun, turn crimson white? Does a shadow come between us, in the winter?

Nope it was on the last tip-up and a long way from where we were jigging. It was the only bass I got today but it was cold and windy and wanted to get him back in the hole.  :P

Thanks guys  ;D I wish I could find these big, bad boys on the open water more than on the ice. But, man they are unreal to be pulling these up on tip-ups and using your hands. You wouldn't ever be able to do that on the open water. A true pleasure of ice fishing.  ;D

I never caught a LMB on ice.  Do they smack their heads on the ice when they try to jump?  :D  I bet there a blast.
