i just got one this fall and havent had it out yet.  i think it is a good unit for the money and i like the fact that it is smaller than flashers.  im sure the fl20 or lx5 is a better unit but for the price what the heck.

I have a showdown and I love it!  I have an older one so I'm not real happy about $50 for the upgrade but if your buying one now, your ok.  Works great.  Better target separation, easy to read, VERY long battery life and it's very easy to use.

Also interested in one, where and how much?
Teach a kid to fish and hunt and they will be resourceful, smart and confident. Today's world is much different than the one I knew as a child. They need these skills even more than I did.

i picked mine up this fall on ebay for 190.00 and free shipping, however it doesnt have the new upgrade.  i didnt know if it was worth the extra 50 bucks or more or not.  figure i will try it without and see if i think i need it.
