FREE ice fishing seminar Dec 1st
« on: Nov 20, 2007, 03:18 PM »
With permission from the powers that be, I'd like to let folks know about our annual ice fishing seminar on Saturday December 1st. It will be held at 9 AM at Connecticut Outfitters
The seminar, like all of them at the shop, is completely free. Topics discussed will include everything from panfishing to walleye and northerns. Safety, tactics and gear will also be covered.

Space is limited and these always fill up quickly so don't wait too long to get your spot reserved. To reserve your seat(s) call the shop at 860-296-0110 or email [email protected] Hope to see some of you there!

Pretty sure I've got a tag along too.
For anyone who hasn't attended one of CTO's seminars they are always informative and entertaining. Plus its a chance to talk ice. and see the newest gear.

CT Outfitters, thanks for your hospitality today.  The seminar was worth the trip down from Western MA even with our wintry conditions this morning up north.  Had a good time and look forward to stopping in again when doing some fishing that way.  Tight Lines...

Thanks a lot for coming guys and thanks for the kind words. It's alway nice to hear feedback from guys that haven't seen my seminars before, especially the ones that already know the sport  ;) Now... Having said that, do you have any suggestions on stuff I might have missed or should have talked about more? The most common suggestion I get is because there is only so much time to talk that we ought to have a separate seminar for more advanced stuff like electronics and jigging techniques...

We are looking into advertising here so you may be hearing a lot more from us soon.  :)

Blaine,  I think you did a great job at covering the basics without skimping on small details with each topic covered.  If you folks do decide to have a separate discussion on electronics, I'd love to attend.  Some of these topics can easily have there own class.  Thanks again, tight lines...

I would def be interested in an electronics seminar, not that I own any electronics.  With all the products out there today its tough to figure out what you need, and what you want in a flasher.  Ill be in next weekend to talk to you about the vpg, but def would be in for an electronics seminar.

E, you're welcome to come in any time but I'll be travelling for Daiwa for a week. I'll be gone from Thursday to Tuesday the 11th, returning to the shop on Wednesday the 12th. ;)

I'd also be interested in an "Advanced" seminar, discussing electronics and jigging techniques.
