Well I was surprised this weekend to find the big lake close to home, which was half open water, to be supporting almost 10" on the other half. I poked around and located some new structure in deeper water. Ended up finding a personal best walleye!

Nice eye!  Hoping to get out later today and see if we can find some safe ice in the QC to fish.
