Hopefully after this week we will get some cold temps to stick around for a while. Then maybe get some ice that will stick around too!! :tipup:

I will be on the hunt for safe ice in 2 weeks.........when I go on my X-mas break.

Went north last week and fished all day Saturday and half Sunday - great to be back on the ice. Should be on the ice here in southern WI very soon. Single digits here and lakes are closing up.

Still think we are a week or two away from safe ice. But there were a couple of guys that got out on some thin ice a week ago. Very jealous!!

I had some sleet myself this morning banging off my front door. I would love to get out in December,I have done it for the past 5 years but it looks tough this year. But you never know. Have to think positive!!

the almanac says its supposed to be a good winter this year, come on cold. i have been out in december for the past four or five years myself, hope it to be true this year also.
