2 months away and we will be back at it for Goatboy weekend. Got the same place as last year which is a beautiful home and good fishing. All we need now is some cold weather. 60's at the end of November is unbelievable. Still waiting for that first nice cold snap. Its been so warm I havent even looked at my gear yet. But that will change shortly!!

About a month away and Im hoping for some cold weather soon. If not, looks like there will be a lot of card playing and drinking that weekend. But there has always been ice at the end of January and there should be again this season.

Its 10 degrees colder there than here so I think we will be ok. If not there will be a lot more drinking (if thats possible) and some naps!!

E-mailed the owner of the house we rent and he said the lake is iced over and people were ice fishing last weekend!!!! About 3 more weeks and Goatboy Weekend will kick off!!!

About a week to go and looks like it will be our first trip out on the ice since it doesnt look like any safe local ice this weekend. Guess it is what it is. But next weekend will be a great time as usual!!

5 Days away. Checked all the gear and just have to get my clothes together. Going out thursday night and picking up the food and beer with Robbie. Mugz is bringing bait and Robbie and I will also be bringing about 13 dozen shiners. Bobby will be flying in Thursday night from Virginia and is ready to go.

Just got an e-mail from the home owner we are renting from. Said the local bait shop opened last week and that there is a foot of ice on the pond!!!!! Friday cant get here fast enough!!!

HOLY CRAP!!!!What a weekend. Great to see the boys again. Wet on friday but the fishing was good. Saturday was beautiful and Robbie pulled out the big fish of the weekend at 4 '10. Of course he was well rested after falling asleep at 5:00 friday night!!! Good to see our buddy Bill (moosehunter) and Kev (LAVAMAN). Billy pulled out a big bass that would have put his name on the Goatboy plaque. Looking forward to a good nights sleep.

Beej Mugz it was good to meet up with ur group. that was cool that u let us park over there at your place so we could par take in the fun. you guys have a great thing going there. here's some pics i took. i'm sure bill has a few to add also.

Weekend started out with pouring rain and slush. Decided to head out on Friday anyways. Actually did well for the couple hours we were out there. Some nice fishing caught.
Saturday started decent with the water on the ice all locked back up (Bill was right, we needed the Creepers). I think we fished the longest we've ever fished....8+ hours on the ice and back in at dusk. Great day weatherwise and the fishing was good again.....nothing like being able to icefish in a Hoodie.
All in all good fishing, good food, good drink and good company......can't wait till Next year as always.
We've already decided that the North Attleborians are going to do the rotation ourselves next year (CHADDO)!!!!
