Any break outs or poor ice conditions around the northwoods yet? I'm going to check out Hemlock in Barron County tonight. I will report back.

You should be good to go, still driving on about 12 inches in the Grantsburg area, rain did it's damage though so watch for cricks/narrows etc.. as by next weekend it'll be 4 wheeler or walking only as it's gonna be warm all week.

I walked out yesterday, about the only lakes left are the big deep ones, and you need to find a spot on the south shoreline in the shade to get on. Still about 18" of ice about the top 9" is poor and the bottom 9 is still mostly clear but getting soft, you can tell by how fast the auger is drilling through. a few more days of this summer weather and we will be done, they say 65° for a high today. The perch are going nuts. I'll have to wear a bathing suit and sun tan oil out there today.

I heard from a friend that the landings on Miller Dam are broken out. Bring a plank if you do go.
