I just got back from a trip to the Iron River area.  Most lakes had 14-16", but we did find a few places around 6".

10" of ice on a 70 acre lake in Oneida County. Noticed full size trucks on Boom Lake which is a flowage and quite large in size. Lake Tomahawk had truck traffic on the southern end last Thursday. Crescent Lake had trucks on the north end yesterday (Sunday). As for me, I will still walk out and my gear will be towed by hand!

I'm from northern Indiana.  I'm heading up in a couple of weeks to visit the family in birch wood.  Are they catching any walleyes on red ceder yet, and are they driving on red cedar yet.

Returned from up north today - on business so no ice fishing unfortunately. I spoke to bait shop owners in Eagle River, Conover, St. Germain  and Minocqua. The consensus was 8-10" everywhere. I did see cars and trucks on Minocqua - fella told me where they were driving (bays and not real far off shore) there was about 13"

I am averaging about 7 to 8 flags a night right now on red cedar with starting to catch keepers.  a lot of 16 to 17 inches size limit is 18 inches.  heavy bite is coming around 430 to 515 in the eveing.  Than they shut of for about a hour.. everyone is driving on with about 15" of good ice

How is the ice and conditions onf Holcombe?

I was just out on Holcombe last weekend and there was tons of ice. The most I've seen anywhere. 24" give or take.
