Was on South Mud yesterday afternoon. 5" of clear ice and making more. Only managed a couple gill, a lot of lookers and followers, very little bite.

I’ve fished there a few times always seem to have a hard time to get a good bite. Have caught couple nice perch around hump in past. Wish I knew lake better should be some nice fish there. Seems like Nyoman gets more pressure

I tried to get on Nyona once from a friend's place and punched through with the spud bar, so I headed to Mud. I haven't tried Nyona since. I do ok on Mud, usually don't keep more than a dozen fish.

To answer the question if the snow helped. It didn't seem to help this evening. Bite wasn't any better than my previous trips. I found fish in several spots, lots of followers, few commiting.

Seems like the bite has been slow or just lookers lately
